In the technical sense of the word, yeah, he did. He took a couple of half-hearted swipes at me and that was it.
And that's why it's weird. The first time we spoke, he provoked me until I lunged at him, and then he didn't hesitate to stab me.
[It was absolutely not what he was expecting either.]
